Many third party payers require specialty lab services to be approved prior to releasing payment.  At Advanced Genetics Lab we believe both patient and payer approvals are mandatory prior to each order being processed.  Our trained staff works side by side with physicians and payers to ensure there are no surprises.

Our team of operational experts provide training and education to our referring physicians well in advance of the first requisition being processed.  The approval protocol will differ based on the payer so we have developed a process to ensure compliance, properly documented medical necessity and access to all departments to provide a transparent approach to a proactive system.  We find our affiliated physicians, their staff and most of all their patients appreciate and benefit from this approach.
